My 30×30 List
Everybody’s writing a 30×30 list. So finally I decided to write my own. This is not my full time life goals but these are some of the many things I plan to do in the next eight years. I know some of them sound far fectched but come on these are my goals, my life. Yesterday I ready a book written by Derek Prince on a God Filled Life and how to go about it, so I decided to follow it to the T with deviating keeping the Bible as my guide post.
However I also made a set of rules or guide lines that I did make just to keep me within the borders.
- Start an online business
- Participate in a marathon ( Europe cross country)
- Converse fluently in a minimum or three European languages (French, German, portugal)
- Take frequent hikes
- Write ebooks and blog
- Write marketing book
- Have a book in the New York Times Best Seller List
- Practise singing and take voice training seriously.
- Read 365 books a year.
- Practise sleep learning especially with languages and bench mark progress
- Travel all across India
- Take a wild trip to Australia
- Buy a Dell XPS series (laptop)
- Buy a Mac notebook
- Start a consultancy service
- Teach Mat Sci at university
- Work on my Bioinformatic skills especially in modeling
- Write scientific papers
- Start a Mat Sci research laboratory
- Learn how to ski
- Work on a minimum of 20 startups( both online and offline)
- Learn to touch type ( sure will save a hell lot of time)
- Read a minimum of 500 classics ( including all the works of Shakespeare)
- Watch all the I am Lucy series
- Complete the Personalized MBA ( A reading list of 72 books)
- Learn web designing and also graphic designing
- Work on professional design for web sites
- Write a wonderful sales letter + completye Joe Vitale’s Copywriting course and write copy from time to time.
- Buy a cabin in the wilderness
- Study entomology in my sparetime ( something like an independent scholar like study)
Here’s a list of other things that i would love to do in no particular order
- Work on a photo blog (take a snap of something new each day and make a phot blog (photos of only ideas and no personal stuff just ideas) (think about it this way 365 different pictures 365 different ideas.
- Teach a marketing course in Stanford or maybe Harvard (Stanford does sound reasonable but HARVARD sounds like a piece of work)
- Learn to draw cartoons and wildlife motifs ( study the works of great artists and try sketching)
- Make plent of podcasts on many different topics from Marketing and also on Mat Sci Research.
- Make a video blog with many fun projects.
- Work on simple eletronic geek projects.
- Buy a telescope and watch the stars ( at least snoop around with it)
- Make a wildlife video
- Make a million dollars or more ( working on both online and offline ventures)
- Buy a sound recording studio
- Learn to play the harmonica blues style
- Take frequrent hikes and backpack around the country, Europe and the United States
- Participate in a treasure hunt
- Buy a smart phone with GPS and carry it around for adventures
- Learn lip reading and work as a spy
